Adios Fiesta!

Hey Pandas! Draco6 here to inform you about the latest updates in Pandanda. Right now the Cinco De Mayo Festival has ended. Henry has made a post about this, check it out:

Well, the fiesta decorations have been taken down and packed away for another year. The fun and festive Cinco de Mayo fiesta in Pandanda is over. But don't worry! You can still get your free green sombrero, as well as other colors of sombreros and Mexican scarves, in the Clothing Catalog. The fiesta treehouse decorations are still available in the House & Tree Catalog, too. But don't wait too long - those items won't be in the catalogs forever!

Speaking of green sombreros, I am declaring this ThursdayGreen Sombrero Day! I want to see every single panda in Pandanda wearing their free green sombrero on Thursday. I will drop by during the day to hang out with my friends and take pictures. I can't wait!

Make sure to check out the two new items in the Clothing Catalog that go along with Zing Ballyhoo's prize theme. Elite members, you will want to complete your Detective outfit, because I am planning a special Elite-only Detective Party later this month. I will have more details soon!

Zing Ballyhoo's Mystery Prize #72

Hey Pandas! Zing Ballyhoo has released his 71st Mystery Prize! Don't know who Zing is? Read on!
Zing Ballyhoo is a rich travelling Panda who gives out a prize or 500 coins in exchange of 10 golden tickets (the prizes are rare and will NOT come back to Pandanda!) Golden tickets come like fruit and quest items and appear in any room except your treehouse and come at any time! Zing Ballyhoo is a Pandanda resident located in Treehouse Lobby outside his gold and blue tent. Zing releases new prizes every Monday at 12:01 PD time.

Ticket Collecting Guide:

To check how much Golden tickets you've collected all together, click the Golden ticket icon under the map:

Here's what a Ticket looks like:

Once you have all 10 Golden tickets, proceed to the Treehouse Lobby:

We are long overdue for a Question and Answer session with one of the awesome Pandanda Moderators. Let's find out about more about Mod Jamesey!

Do you have any dragons?

• I have one dragon and his name is Donnerwetter.  That is German for thunderstorm.   I think they are like anything, they need love and care, which I try to give him.

What is your treehouse like?

• My treehouse is in need of major construction.  I need to hire an interior decorator to help it out.  It has planet walls and a few Christmas decorations which I have not cleaned up yet.

What is your favorite outfit?

• That is a hard one.  I really like fall colors.  I did like the football clothes though, but I wish we had all the team colors.

What is your favorite color?

• Blue  -  that is why I am a blue panda, of course.

Which mini game is your favorite.

• Dragon's Revenge!!!!

Would you rather chase Bunnies or hunt Ghosts?  Why?

• I love to hunt ghosts.  I enjoy darting away from the blue ghosts before they freeze me, and nailing the others to get points.

What was your favorite festival?  Why?

• I would have to say the Friendship Festival.  I enjoyed collecting the friendship bracelets as they popped up!

What is your favorite quest?

• That one is a hard question.  I am trying to do them all, but I start a couple and I forget to finish them. Then I have to remember which was the last one I had started and then I finish it.

What is your favorite room in Pandanda?

• Misty Hill.  I enjoy the sound of thunder and the lightening is cool.  I keep waiting for the rain!

What is the best thing about being a Moderator?

• It is great to be with so many pandas and talking about their interests.

What is the hardest thing about being a Moderator?

• Trying to answer all of the questions and hoping that I don't miss anyone's question.  Try to be patient with me, and wait your turn for an answer. 

What do you like to do when you are not moderating?

• I like to listen to music and read.

What makes you smile in Pandanda?

• I enjoy it when pandas help other pandas out without anyone telling them to!

Is there anything else you would like to say to Pandanda land?

• Treat each other nice.....follow the rules......have a great time playing....help others!

Cinco De Mayo 2012!

Hey Pandas! As you know today is Cinco De Mayo 2012! Fitch has added some new Cinco De Mayo items to the clothing catalog. This year, probably as an added Membership bonus, you can choose which colour sombrero you want! There's a green Sombrero for non members and for members there are Black, Blue, Purple, Pink and light blue! Check it out:

Fiesta! It's time to party as Pandanda prepares for Cinco de Mayo on Saturday. Bear Hollow, and West and East Market Streets have been decorated with cut-paper pennants, piñatas, cacti, and bunches of chili peppers. There is also special music so you can dance and party!

Just in time for Cinco de Mayo and warmer weather, the House & Tree Catalog has been updated with some new items, as well as some old favorites in new colors. You can decorate your treehouse for a piñata party, a beach party, or any way you like!

If you decorate your treehouse for a fiesta or piñata party, I'd love to see it! Take a picture of your fiesta treehouse, making sure to show the whole screen, and send it to me at screenshots@pandanda.com. I will accept pictures from today through Cinco de Mayo (May 5th), then choose some to feature on my Blog.

Free Elite Membership Day - April 2012!

Hey pandas, May is coming up so Pandanda is having their monthly Free Elite Membership Day! When you log in today, you will receive a pop-up message like this one:

NOTE: This tracker is updated manually by Draco6 which means that the tracker is NOT updated by itself, whenever I find a Mod, I'll update the tracker. 

Moderators are Pandas that are part of The Pandanda Team. You can tell if a Panda is a Mod because they were an exclusive yellow shirt with an M in the middle and they have a purple chat bubble.
